I am a medical practitioner based in Newcastle, Australia. I have a passion for travel and photography. My main area of interest is wildlife and bird photography. It’s a difficult subject and has its own challenges. I am a self-taught photographer and have been improving my technique from experience and some online resources over the years. Starting from a simple Agfa Click III camera (a present from my mother) during my school years, I now use Nikon cameras and lenses. My present gear includes Nikon Z8 & Z6III with lenses 24-70mm, 200-500mm, 70-200mm, 600mm and of course the iPhone. During the Covid time with no travel, I have developed a new interest in the form of dance photography.
